Payment
Credit and debit card payments are processed through Sagepay who are a secure third-party payment service provider approved by the banks. We do not hold credit card numbers on the web sever or on our own computers.
No contract is formed until the order is accepted by Chinese Fireworks and confirmation sent to the customer. The automated email acknowledgement does not mean that the order has been accepted. Acceptance is advised when the Chinese Firework Company send a receipt.
Price
All prices are shown inclusive of 20% VAT.
We reserve the right at any time to change the price due to increasing currency exchange rates, changes in and unforseen regulations or unexpected cost increases in the finished product
Shipping & Standard Delivery
Orders up to £99.99 incur £24.95 carriage charge
Orders over £100 incur £19.95 carriage charge
5 working day delivery except express deliveries (see below)
Orders on express delivery - additional £10 - normally next day (not guaranteed). Express delivery ONLY APPLIES to orders made from our Mail Order & Collection from Store section and is NOT available for Highland & Grampian postcodes. Our carriers aim to deliver on a next day service however in the event of delay the customer MUST still accept delivery.

UK Mainland deliveries only, no ferry link deliveries.Extra delivery charges (£20.00) may sometimes be applicable to certain parts of the country and parts of highland Scotland - you must select your correct postal area - we reserve the right to process any additional charges via the credit card details you provided at time of checkout.
STOP PRESS
Delivery of fireworks bought from the direct from distributor section are despatched by our importer and they will be with you before your display date, however due to their shipping procedures it is difficult to give an exact delivery date.
Items shipped from our sold from store section are despatched with a delivery window of 3 - 4 working days and are also available on express delivery normally within 2 working days.
Due to regulations on the transportation of hazardous goods all our carriage costs have drastically increased, we have absorbed the majority of the costs. You must be available to take delivery or the carriers will charge £12 for every attempted re-delivery which we will have to debit from your card. Please provide a business/work address for delivery.
You may also collect from our retail premises in Sheffield. Outside the season please call 07973 129 529 and we can arrange for collection by appointment.
The options of delivery are subject to change during seasons, due to the restrictions the carriers impose on us, please check for delivery dates.
All goods must be paid for before delivery or collection. Goods to be collected require a payment in full on order.The Chinese Fireworks Company are only able to deal with mainland UK customers. All sales are governed by UK law and the language used in any communications shall be English. The goods remain the property of the Chinese Fireworks Company Ltd until paid for in full.
Wherever possible please give a business/work address for delivery.It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the carriers can have a signature upon delivery. If you cannot wait for the carriers please leave a note on the door giving a neighbours address.
If the carriers have to make an attempted re-delivery, a charge will be sent to us each time, and therefore we will have to debit that amount from your payment card. If the carriers leave a card to say they have tried to deliver, you must telephone their office that evening to re-arrange the delivery, failure to do so, they will charge each time they attempt to deliver. We reserve the right to process any additonal charges via the credit card details provided at time of checkout.

Returns & Damaged Goods
Any shortages and damages must be reported to The Chinese Fireworks Company first by telephone within 36 hours then in writing within seven days
A carriage charge for delivery and up-lift will be chargeable to the customer.
Safety
All spectators must stand a distance of at least 25 mtrs away.
All kits are supplied with safety instructions. Please ensure all safety requirements are adhered to.

Insurance
The insurance referred to on this site is one from a number of companies that provide this type of cover. Organisers should ensure that any cover taken is sufficient for their requirements. The Chinese Firework Company Ltd give no undertaking as to the suitability of any shown on or linked to by this website.
Descriptions
All the fireworks are described to the best of our knowledge, however please read safety instructions and descriptions carefully before attempting to light any fireworks. Pack contents may vary subject to availability, some images have been substituted due to lack of availability.
Due to current legislation black powder cannot now be used in the composition of fireworks thus reducing the bang in the starburst. Disclaimer: Some videos shown may differ in the projection of the starburst due to the new regulations regarding use of black powder in the compostion of the firework
British Standards
All fireworks that are listed and available to the general public on this website are all approved to British Standard BS7114.
Age
Fireworks will not be supplied to any person under the age of 18 years. Purchasing from this site means that you have confirmed you are over 18.
Pack Content
At any time we reserve the right to change the content of the display pack due to availability or any unforeseen circumstances. Same value or higher value fireworks will be substituted
IF SOME ITEMS ARE OUT OF STOCK, SUBSTITUTES WILL BE MADE TO THE SAME VALUE, OR PLEASE CHECK PRIOR TO ORDERING IF YOU WOULD NOT LIKE US TO MAKE THE NECESSARY SUBSTITUTIONS.
